POLICE REPORT

Summary of Incident:
Due to the state of the remains, an autopsy was challenging, and limited information could be gathered. However, the forensics team was able to determine that the victim had ingested poison orally. The poison is known for its delayed effect, and the quantity detected suggests it was sufficient to render the victim unconscious or possibly cause death.

After the victim succumbed to the poison, the body was placed into an industrial-sized wood chipper. The control panel of the machine indicates it was used once that evening at 11:55 p.m.

Discovery:
The victim's remains were discovered early the next morning at 6:00 a.m.

Time of Death:
The victim was last seen alive leaving the house after dinner at 9:00 p.m. to visit one of the barns, a 10-minute walk away. The time of death is estimated between 9:00 p.m. and 11:55 p.m.
