3D Artist/Animator (freelance)

We're a small studio building a new mobile game from scratch, and we're looking for a freelance 3D artist, an animator at heart, to help build and animate the players in the game.

This is a ground-floor role. There's no established look yet. You'd be helping define it, not filling one in.

What matters to us:

  • You're UK-based. This one's a must. Bonus points if you are in the North West or London - for potential coffee/beer meet-ups.

  • Your reel is strong on character movement, and animation is the part of the craft you love most.

  • You're comfortable taking work all the way into Unity and making it run well on a phone.

  • You work in a stylised direction rather than photoreal.

  • An interest in American football is a bonus.

Who you are:

  • You're happy helping set a look rather than waiting to be handed one.

  • You're comfortable working from limited direction and taking real ownership.

  • You can work with two non-technical founders, taking the vision and building on it.

How we work:

We don't care about when or how you work. We care about what you build and whether it's good.

Freelance, starting in October, with real potential for ongoing work as the studio grows. Outside IR35 only.

How to apply

Email us at publishing@mvpgames.co and tell us a bit about you.

Developers, include links to mobile games you've shipped in Unity. Artists, send a reel or portfolio showing your character animation.
